Quelques années en arrière, je me suis replongée
dans un grand carton où j'avais gardé les
dentelles anciennes qu'avaient utilisé mes grand-mères,
qui cousaient, et tricotaient beaucoup.
J'ai été vraiment surprise à mesure que je découvrais
les pièces, par leur qualité. Je ne couds pas, et donc
je les propose à la vente, pour qu'elles trouvent une
nouvelle vie.
Je les listerai ici une par une.
Cette dentelle en particulier est toute souple,
très belle, et contrairement à d'autres pièces
elle n'a pas de défauts dans la matière.
La pièce fait 1 m de long x 15 cm.

Dentelle Noire, Galon de dentelle très ancienne de mes grands-mères, 15 cm large
A couple of years ago, I rediscovered a cardboard box into which
I had stored fabric and old lace that came from both my
grandmas, who were sewing and knitting a lot in their
time.
I was so surprised, when I opened the box, to see the quality of
what they had saved.
I don't sew myself, and so it's time to give a new life to these
oldies, and I will list them here one by one.
Due to their age, the lace can be a bit rigid. it has been thoroughly
cleaned and washed.
Here we have a piece that's 1m x 15 cm.
Contrary to other pieces, there are no flaws on this piece
and it's supple and not rigid. I just ironed it and it's very pretty.
